All Centrex services have been restored. Reassignment of the 8 circuits to new cable facilities should be complete but has yet to be confirmed. Confirmation is expected on Monday, the 11th, at which time an update will be posted.

Centrex services impacted by the cut cable have been restored. Work is ongoing to address the 8 circuits that were impacted. The circuits should be restored by end of business on 9/7/2017.
Campus elevator phones and blue light kiosks have been restored. AT&T has completed reassigning the remaining impacted Centrex services to another cable. Technology Services is now in the process of cross-connecting these remaining Centrex services to the newly assigned cable pairs. Technology Services is still awaiting new cable assignments for 8 circuits.
Efforts are still ongoing with elevator phones and campus blue light kiosks taking priority. An update is expected by 3 PM on 9/1/2017.
Efforts are underway to move impacted services off of the cut cable and to another underground facility. It is anticipated that this process will not be completed until the after 5:00 PM on 8/31/2017.
AT&T reports that an underground facility cable has been cut. This cable delivers AT&T services such as Centrex to the southeast portion of campus. Impacted Centrex lines return a busy signal for both incoming and outgoing calls. AT&T is in the process of addressing and anticipates a resolution time of 12:00 AM on 8/31/2017.
